Lauren Giugale, MD

In addition to her research and clinical efforts (described below), Dr. Giugale is devoted to surgical education in the operating room and has been recognized in the past for her excellence in procedural teaching. She enjoys and prioritizes teaching residents and fellows both vaginal and minimally invasive surgery procedures. Dr. Giugale also serves as a mentor for both residents and fellows.

Dr. Giugale provides care for all women with pelvic floor disorders. She has a special interest in maternal pelvic floor health after pregnancy and childbirth and is developing The MOMMA Clinic for postpartum women at Magee-Womens Hospital.
