Gynecologic Oncology

Fellowship Overview:

The Division has an American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology approved fellowship in gynecologic oncology. We offer two positions per year for a three-year fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology. Fellows will obtain advanced clinical and research training, with participation in the core Clinical Research Training Program.

Fellows will gain exposure to NIH-funded trials through the Gynecologic Oncology Group, Radiation Therapy Oncology Group, and many other ongoing clinical and basic research projects. Clinical training is enhanced by active multidisciplinary collaboration with the Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Radiation Oncology, and Surgical Oncology (at UPMC Shadyside).

Application Process:

UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship Program at the University of Pittsburgh will be participating in the match for the 2023-2024 academic year. Interested candidates can submit their applications through ERAS. 

The application deadline for the  2024-2025 academic year is April 1st, 2024. Invitations for interviews will be sent by April 26th, 2024. The interview dates will be July 26th, 2024 and Aug 9th, 2024. We appreciate your interest in our program, and wish you the best of luck in your interview process.
